Mohamed Abdel Aziz
was born in 1945 in Alexandria, Egypt. Since 1985 he and his family live in Opfikon (Switzerland).
After his studies in electro-engineering he worked as an assistant at the technical institute in Lausanne where he got his doctorate in Science Technology. He lectured at various universities in Egypt and worked as a system-development-engineer in Switzerland.
In his young years he was a master of athletics in Egypt. The climax was winning the gold medal in tri-jump at the Arabic olympics in 1964. Today he is also active as a volleyball-trainer and as an expert in J&S.
A passionate expert of Arabic language and literature he speaks four languages and understands approximately 25 Arabic dialects he has written and published several Arabic textbooks as well as oriental poems and poetry in Arabic and German.
Through founding DIWAN his passion for Egypt and the arabic language became his profession.
